Bathroom Installation
Making the decision to install a new or refurbish an old bathroom is one that is not taken on a regular basis. Most people appreciate that it is a serious undertaking and can cause considerable worry when choosing an installer. With us, you can rest in the knowledge that our experience and professionalism will minimise any concerns you may have. Having spent a considerable period as a bathroom designer/salesmen, Geoff combines these skills with his installation knowledge to provide a complete understanding of a customer’s requirements, whilst pinpointing and advising on any problems that may arise prior to or during installation. We can design, select and supply products for you if required and supply plans of the proposed project for your perusal so that nothing is left to chance.
Wet Rooms
Should you decide to change a conventional bathroom or create a spare room into a wet room, the transformation to that room is spectacular. Wet rooms have been popular on the continent for many years and with today’s technology, creating a fully waterproof environment with tiled shower tray and floor drain is a stunning alternative to the conventional shower tray and gives the appearance of a much larger shower room. Stand-alone glass screens bring a touch of class that has to be seen to be appreciated.
Again, every aspect is taken into consideration. Advice, if required, is given on available products so that you the customer are left in no doubt of what can be achieved within your budget.
Kitchen Installation
When it comes to kitchens, this is probably the most important room in the home. It is an area that has to have the maximum usage built into sometimes the smallest of space. But whether large or small, the same degree of dedication from the fitters is vitally important. Recognising the additional skills required, Dan Eames joined the firm in 2011 to fulfil that role. Trained as a carpenter, he is a fully qualified and approved installer and is familiar with every aspect of kitchen fitting. The same degree of professionalism is apparent in the other areas of the business. From plumbing, and electrics through to tiling, everything is discussed – ‘t’s crossed and ‘i’s dotted – so that your initial dream becomes a reality.
Underfloor Heating
If you are having a tiled floor laid and are worried about them being cold then this is the time to consider electric underfloor heating. There are obvious areas where the floor is going to benefit from this heating system – the most common being conservatories or extensions where for some reason or another, conventional heating is not available. For concrete floors, insulation boards are recommended. Installation is simple and works well with either ceramic or porcelain tiles. The heating element is only 3mm thick so will not add to floor levels. Monitored by a versatile 7-day digital thermostat, this heating system is good value and a good way of adding comfort and value to your home.
Tiling is the final trade that brings everything together – so it’s vitally important that this is done properly. As well as the usual bathroom, wet rooms and kitchens we have undertaken hallways, lounges, porches and pathways. In all cases, we use the best flexible adhesives, grouts and sealers.
